I am a lover of books and detest any form of desecration against books, but there is a book in this world that I would take action against. If given a lighter and this book I would burn it and rejoice in its burning. The Golden Compass and the 2 other books in this trilogy. The main goal of the girl in these books are to find and Kill God. That is correct, you read what you just read, to kill God. This author does not like God and the goal of the girl is to find and kill God. Just to let you know I am going to take a lighter to this book and burn it..
One of my all time favorite books and its going to burn as if it were in hell where it should be.
If you dont believe me go to www.google.com and type in philip pullman. Go to his official website and look under Question & Answers or some page like that. He states he doesnt believe in God and if you are a christian it will probably just make you irritated and hostile against him, like myself. THat book will burn. Me and my friend will stand by it and watch it till it disappears into the dust of this earth, as will the author.
